MonPoc mapping tut and tiles!

So finally this project is done - I've put together a tileset of simple jpegs to be used to make MonPoc maps of your very own as well as a tutorial on how to use them with The Gimp - a free graphical editing program.

My aim was to get those of you who can't use or afford Photoshop to be able to start mapping.

So these tiles come from a coupla sources - the really sexy ones are made from photoshop files kindly released for general use by Ben Ruiz. An awesome digital artist, his website is at http://www.benruiz.net/ . All tiles where I used his work are named with _ben at the end. Basically I imported his photoshop psd files into paintshop pro, merged layers and saved 'em as jpegs for easy use.
The other tiles I cut from Jugglervr's homebrew 2-player map available here : http://forums.monsterpocalypse.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7458
Jugglervr has also put a photoshop-friendly map template on the web including photoshop layered-tiles made by Ben Ruiz too - it's awesome and is here - http://forums.monsterpocalypse.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7503
